Is that an Aperture Miniature Golf hole inspired by the video game Portal? How about a Minecraft themed hole with creeper? Yup, it sure is! Which makes this awesome and very geeky, just how we like it! The miniature golf course above was built after a man and hacker named Tom Scott decided to celebrate his 10,000th day on earth. What ended up happening was the hackers he enlisted to help went overboard, and a much larger and more awesome golf course was built! Here’s what he had to say
Our count puts the course at twelve holes. We’re already familiar with the Companion Sphere Incinerator hole, but joining in that heme is a Turret Hold (which lasers!), and a clever hack that uses hidden balls to simulate a portal jump. The image above shows the Real Turf hole which starts with a put up some living sod into the indoor/outdoor carpet lined labyrinth. The Twin Looper hole will suck a well placed putt through thirty meters of tubing. And of course there’s the Minecraft hole which includes a Creeper and TNT block.
Hit the jump to check out the holes in action, including but not limited to a Wii nun chuck controlled hole!
