Thank You Mom! Happy Mother’s Day To All
I’m sure you know that Mother’s Day is on Sunday, but since I take the weekends off I figured now was a good time to post this. I just want to say to all the mothers out there that you are AWESOME! Without you we wouldn’t be here, and I wouldn’t be able to do all the awesome things I get to do. I especially want to give a shout out to my mom. If she raised me she’s got to be special! From all my crazy antics, to stuff I needed, and times she saved me from blowing one of my hands off, I thank you. MIT Student Builds Real Life Mario Kart: The Chibkart
Seen above is the Chibkart, a real life version of the Mario Kart. Made by MIT student Charles Guan, this bad boy is a four-wheel drive ulta-compact go-kart with 100mm custom hub motor wheels. The frame is 34″ long and 18″ wide (870mm x 460mm). Which means that if you have hard wood floor or tile, you can host your own in house rainbow roads. Bacon! : Brain Scans May Lead To Dogs Being Able To Talk!
Above is 2 year old Callie. She has been trained to get brain scanned by researchers to see the mental processes of dogs by recording which areas of their brains are activated by various stimuli. Ultimately, they hope to get at questions like is the dog happy? Does he think I’m cool? Does my butt look fat in these… okay okay just emotions, but still that’s pretty cool.
